Reviewing my second year on substack
What were the most read posts?
Welcome to my newsletter, ‘Bible, Mission, and More’, where I share what’s on my mind as I teach, research, and write on the Bible and mission, children-at-risk in the Bible and contemporary society, Psalms and Wisdom Literature, and a range of other topics. I teach at All Nations Christian College in the UK, though views are my own. You may also like to check out my Bible and Mission website.

The most read posts of my second year on Substack
It’s now been two years since I started this Substack. I still enjoy writing it, though have been a bit kinder to myself by not posting during busy periods. I’ve also been more flexible with the format even though I still like the general pattern of highlighting something I’ve read, something I’ve written or recorded, and a reflection on learning and teaching.
This time last year, as part of a reflection on my first twelve months using the platform, I listed the 25 most read posts up to that point. It’s always interesting to see what connects with people and piques their interest. Obviously, this is a bit skewed because older posts have more opportunity to be discovered. I also wouldn’t necessarily equate a higher number of views with a post being more important in and of itself. Nevertheless, with those caveats in mind, here are the most viewed posts for the second year of the Bible, Mission, and More Substack. I hope you enjoy this look back, whether you are revisiting these posts or reading them for the first time.
