I got to this interview recently (same goes for your Substack!), and I found it fascinating (ditto for your Substack!). Was this all done live? There is one segment in particular (the reply that starts with "You know I don’t think so!", a reply I loved reading) that feels so well-wrought, so alliterative and filled with ingenuity—that it feels like something that resulted from a couple of drafts. If the interview was all live, how can I not admire Peterson even more? His books and The Message Devotional Bible are quarries of insights and provocative explorations for me. Thanks for posting this, Tim. What a great opportunity you had to get to know Peterson in person.
Thank you for sharing this. Peterson‘s books have had a significant impact on my life and the way I read Scripture. He is missed.
Also, your Substack has been so helpful and informative. You’ve introduced me to at least two resources that I’ll be using for my thesis. So, thank you!
Wow what an amazing opportunity to interview a legend! Eugene Peterson has had a huge impact on me, including his book Christ Plays in Ten Thousand Places (which you gifted to me on a trio to Australia- thank you!)

Thanks Federico! Yes I did the interview in person at a conference. A cherished memory!
